Amazon India takes up 30,000 sq ft in BKC for its first office in Mumbai.
Amazon India, the e-tailing giant has taken over 30,000 sqft on lease at OneBKC in the city's commercial hub.
This is its first entry into Mumbai and the facility will house its seller services and bring it closer to one of the largest markets in country. Market sources said the deal is for five years with average rentals around Rs 280 per sqft per month.

Facebook leases 22,000 sq ft at BKC for India ops
Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) has emerged as a prime destination among global firms for their India headquarters. Now, Facebook, the online social networking service with more than one billion users, will set up its India corporate office in this commercial business district.
It has just concluded a deal to take on lease 22,000 square feet on the seventh floor of One BKC, a commercial tower controlled by Radius Developers.

Two mega lease deals warm up slow market, Companies Rent 2.5 Lakh Sq Ft In BKC & Powai
Two recent big ticket deals show the city's commercial lease market seems to be firming up after last year's slowdown.
In perhaps the first large office lease deal of 2015, real estate portal Housing.com has taken on lease 1.5 lakh sq ft spread over two buildings in Hiranandani Complex, Powai.In the other transaction, Trafigura, a global commodity trading and logistics firm, will expand its presence in the Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC). It will occupy 1 lakh sq ft on the 10th and 11th floors of One BKC, a commercial tower owned by Radius Developers.

Nariman Point loses another big office to BKC
After residing in Nariman Point's Express Towers for over three decades, Bank of America is shifting its India headquarters to the BandraKurla Complex (BKC), marking another milestone in the steady movement of businesses to the suburbs.
The multinational bank has signed a letter of intent with Sanjay Chhabria of Radius Developers to take on lease 1.30 lakh sq ft in OneBKC, a brand new commercial tower in BKC.It will occupy floors 16, 17, 18 and 19 of the building once it moves in next year.
